This mirror-image dual occupancy project comprises 16 prefabricated modules stacked across four levels to create two contemporary family homes. The design required careful coordination and technical precision to deliver a high-end outcome on a challenging sloping site.

Extensive site works, including a basement and large-scale excavation, enabled a split-level response that transitions seamlessly through each dwelling. Both homes adopt a reverse-living layout – children’s bedrooms are located on the lower levels, while the ground floor accommodates the open plan kitchen, dining and living spaces that extend to a generous outdoor entertaining area.

The top floor forms a private retreat for parents, featuring a master suite and dedicated office. Strong collaboration with the client informed every design decision, resulting in a bespoke architectural expression defined by timber cladding and carefully detailed screening.
