Design and construction of a new VCE Resource Centre for Minaret College’s Springvale campus.
This important building caters for the school’s senior cohort providing a state of the art facility for the next generation of teaching and learning.
The distinct space within the building is the open plan student lounge, featuring large sawtooth clerestory windows that introduce an abundance of natural light onto amenities such as study pods, kitchenette facilities and lockers.
The building consists of three large general purpose classrooms with operable walls in-between for flexibility between the rooms and when required these can open out to create one large space including the resource library, suitable for examination conditions.
Project value: $3,000,000 (excl GST) including design, consultant and authority fees, factory and site based construction. Modular building system.
